This tasty base is great if you want to add more flavor and richness to boiled or steamed greens, any cooked grains, pasta, beans, potatoes and so on. Once the grains, greens, beans or pasta is done cooking just toss it together with the sauce and enjoy.
Ingredients
40g Butter
1 clove Garlic
6 large leaves Sage
1.5 tbsp Mushroom Garum
Method
- Place a sauté pan over low heat and add the butter.
- Finely slice the garlic and add to the saucepan.
- Finely slice the sage.
- Once the butter has melted, add the sage and let it bubble for about 20 seconds before adding the Smoked Mushroom Garum.
- Stir for about 20 seconds until it is ready to be tossed with almost everything.
