About the job.

As a product operations manager, you’ll be reporting to and are accountable to Noma Project's COO. Your main focus is on our first phase of Noma Projects: the pantry line. Our mission is to rewild people. In doing so, we want to bring them closer to the world’s best ingredients and flavors, spark new ideas of cooking at home, adopt philosophies around responsible consumption, and inspire people to adopt healthier, greener diets.

Day to day.

Operations:
• Manage post-production procurement and partner relationships with suppliers, fulfillment, logistics, and customer success
• Conduct sales and cost analysis for new products, improving overall costs as we scale
• Define and oversee SOPs for fulfillment hubs on quality control and inventory management
• Oversee and drive the E2E fulfillment and logistics process, ensuring the delivery of orders to meet customer expectations and agreed budget & terms with our fulfillment partner

Growth & Experience:
• Set up and oversee product stack and architecture for ecommerce business
• Be the go-to person for all tech and product related inquiries and questions across the business
• Manage web updates with new releases/products, business changes, and overall language consistency
• Collaborate regularly with the development team to develop and introduce new site features as needed; perform UAT with new web and email features
• Own UI/UX of our cross channel experience (web, email marketing, socials)
• Develop weekly and quarterly growth reports to include email, web, and social success metrics; updating executive stakeholders on latest figures and KPIs
• Coordinate with social media/press team on content strategy, content management
• Define customer archetypes and personas to expand customer audience and develop a deeper understanding of our demographics
• Develop and define email marketing automation, lifecycle, and flows
• Define and execute email marketing campaigns and monitor performance
• Improve costs and optimize processes for product and web development
• Explore new markets and business models through industry trends, historical trends, forward-looking forecasts, competitive assessment, etc. and build/evaluate recommendations for strategic growth

Sales & Strategy:
• Work cross-functionally to define strategies that influence the future direction of our sales and distribution channels
• Manage sales and inventory forecasts for all product releases
• Define and execute effective launch schedules, pricing, and inventory allocation
• Set success metrics and sales targets for releases, new products, and customer feedback

Customer Success:
• Set up and oversee bizops for customer service, inquiries, and fulfillment related issues
• Manage cross-channel customer service with 3PL and couriers for lost/stolen parcels
• Implement product feedback loop and define product lifecycle
• Obsess over customers. Drive market research, user research, data analysis, and user testing that informs product requirements to build products.

Requirements.

• Degree in business or entrepreneurship; MBA is a plus
• 3-5 years of experience in management consulting, tech, or a small, agile environment where primary experience is building new businesses or products
• Demonstrated experience with Shopify, or other related platform, and full suite of ecommerce tools (email, customer service, international shipping tools)
