Taste Buds Membership is an annual membership that grants members access to a year of 12 unreleased products, direct interaction with the noma team, and behind-the-scenes insights into noma’s culinary innovation, in addition to virtual events, and perks like free shipping and discounts.The quarterly deliveries of products are expected to ship from Copenhagen in February, May, August and November.

You will need to create an account on our website to access your Taste Buds membership and benefits. This account allows you to track shipments, access members-only content, and use your membership discounts. After signing up, you will receive instructions on how to create your account by email. You’ll receive detailed instructions about how to access all your benefits, including products, virtual events, and discounts. Don’t worry—everything will be set up for you before the first delivery, which is expected to ship in February. You’ll also get an invitation to join our private Discord channel to connect with other members.

The Taste Buds membership fee is annual and set up as one-time charge that covers the entire year of membership. At checkout you are able pay upfront or to select payment plans via PayPal.

In line with the Danish Consumer Contracts Act, consumers may cancel their membership within 14 days from concluding the purchase without stating any reasons for such cancellation. If you wish to exercise your right of cancellation, you must inform us by email at hello@nomaprojects.com by means of an unambiguous statement about your decision to cancel the membership. You may use the sample cancellation form attached to these Terms and Conditions, but this is not mandatory.   If you cancel your membership within the 14-days period, a full refund will be issued without undue delay. For this refund, we will use the same means of payment that you used for the original transaction, unless we have expressly agreed otherwise; you will in no event be charged for this repayment.  

The annual membership cannot be refunded or partially refunded after the 14-day period.

As a Taste Buds 2025 member, you’ll receive twelve innovative and unreleased products directly from the noma test kitchen. These will range from umami-rich sauces, fermentations, and garums to experimental flavors that may never be available to the public. For example, we’ve listed all the exciting products from last year’s lineup so you can see what’s in store.

The two Fermentation Kits are an exciting part of your Taste Buds membership. Each kit includes the essential raw materials to start your fermentation projects at home, with expert guidance from noma’s fermentation lab. This guidance comes in the form of detailed manuals, online videos, and a live stream for each kit. You’ll be taken through the creative process behind some of noma’s most iconic flavors. The kits will be delivered with your second and third product deliveries. Some basic equipment (not included in the kits) is required, i.e. 1L glass jar, cloth, rubber band and weights.

The Summer Event will feature both invitations to pre-arranged events and optional add-ons during specific dates in Copenhagen. Pre-arranged events include things like tastings, tours and time with the team.

Optional add-ons will include special dining experiences across some of our favorite restaurants like Barr, Popl, Sanchez, Hart, as well as at noma itself.

The optional dining experiences are available at an additional cost.

Shared Taste Buds tables at noma will be reserved for members for a specified period starting in summer 2025, ensuring each member has the opportunity to dine with their fellow Taste Buds.Due to high demand and limited availability, we will not be able to guarantee specific date or time requests. Dates for the Taste Buds-only event in Copenhagen will be announced to members in January 2025.

This Summer Event will be a special way of connecting both with our team and other Taste Buds.

We’ll share full details and schedules in January, so that everyone can plan accordingly.

Yes! Taste Buds members can interact directly with René Redzepi, the test kitchen team, and noma’s production crew through virtual Q&A sessions and cook-alongs. Additionally, you’ll have access to the Taste Buds private Discord channel, where you can ask questions, share recipes, and exchange experiences with both the noma team and fellow members. It’s the perfect space to discuss meetups, fermentation successes, and everything in between.

As a Taste Buds member, you and a guest are welcome to drop by to visit noma’s production facility in Copenhagen, during our opening hours (Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm). This unique, behind-the-scenes experience lets you explore how our products are made and meet some of the team. Starting in January, we’ll offer specific dates and times each week within our opening hours for you to sign up and reserve your spot. During your visit, you’ll have the opportunity to speak with the production team and gain deeper insights into our processes.
