July 2026: Tasting with Alastair

There’s arguably no one on the Noma team as knowledgeable about coffee varietals as our head roaster, Alastair.  
 
This month, Carolyne invited him to share his thoughts on Luis Alberto Jojoa’s rich and creamy Ombligón, a subspecies of coffee with mysterious origins.  

Alastair — and the rest of us — may not know where Ombligón orignated, but we can agree that its fruity, delicate, and spiced nature makes it truly special.
