Taste Buds is an annual membership that allows noma to share its newest, most favorite flavors and so much more. For a full year, Taste Buds get to enjoy unreleased products, interact directly with the noma team, and gain access to virtual and in-person events and a world of perks, including free shipping and discounts. The quarterly deliveries of products are expected to ship from Copenhagen in February, May, August, and November 2027.

You can join Taste Buds 2027 when membership enrollment opens in October 2026. Taste Buds Alumni will receive early access. If you are not yet a member, join the waitlist above for early access and updates on the exact launch time. Enrollment will close on 31 December.

Once you’ve secured your membership, get ready for the program to kick off at the beginning of 2027. In January, you’ll receive detailed instructions and tips on how to make the best of your membership, including access to a private member’s only digital portal, Discord Channel, discounts, and more. As far as new flavors go, the first delivery is expected to ship in February.

You’ll need to create an account on our website, where you can track shipments, access members-only content, and apply your membership discounts. After signing up, you will receive an email with instructions on how to create your account. We’ll take care of this well before the first shipment in February.

The Taste Buds membership fee is an annual, one-time charge that covers the entire year of membership. At checkout, we offer the option of paying in full upfront or selecting an installment plan via PayPal.

In line with the Danish Consumer Contracts Act, consumers may cancel their membership within 14 days from the date of purchase without stating any reasons for said cancellation. If you wish to exercise your right of cancellation, you must inform us by email at hello@nomaprojects.com by means of an unambiguous statement about your decision to cancel the membership. You are welcome to use the sample cancellation form attached to these Terms and Conditions. If you cancel your membership within the 14-days period, a full refund will be issued without undue delay. For this refund, we will reimburse the same form of payment used for the original transaction, unless we have expressly agreed otherwise; you will in no event be charged for this repayment.

The annual membership cannot be refunded or partially refunded after the 14-day period.

Absolutely! Once the membership is publicly available for sign-up, you can simply shop the voucher option for our Taste Buds membership, and you’ll be able to enter the recipient’s details. They will receive the voucher and your personalized message on the date selected by you. They will then be able to redeem their voucher for entry to their membership. All gifts must be made before the end of 2026.

That’s the whole idea! In other words: Yes! We offer international shipping to a wide range of countries. Whether you’re in Europe, North America, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore or Japan, it's our pleasure to deliver your Taste Buds products straight to your doorstep.

Simple: before every quarterly delivery ships out from Copenhagen, you’ll have the opportunity to add other products to the order without paying a delivery fee. Certain regions may have exceptions, so please check our shipping policy for full details.

US Taste Buds shipments are fulfilled with a Delivered Duties Paid (DDP) service due to the recent tariff changes — meaning duties and taxes are included in the price, and no additional fees are due upon delivery.

For members outside the US and Europe, customs and duties may be charged upon delivery, depending on local import regulations.

Once your Taste Buds 2027 membership is activated, you’ll automatically receive a 20% discount on all Noma Projects products for an entire year. These benefits will be applied at checkout when you’re logged into your account.

Once your Taste Buds 2027 membership is activated, you will be able to log in to your account. From there you will be able to navigate to the Noma Kaffe sign up page on which you will see a special members rate at a 20% discount. Simply add it to your cart and check out.

As a Taste Buds 2027 member, you’ll receive innovative and unreleased products directly from the noma test kitchen. These will range from umami-rich sauces, fermentations, and garums to experimental flavors that may never be available to the public. Here's a selection of some of our past years’ deliveries to give you an example of what’s in store.

The two Fermentation Kits are an exciting add on to your standard Taste Buds membership. Each kit includes the essential raw materials to start your fermentation projects at home, with expert guidance from noma’s fermentation lab. This guidance comes in the form of detailed manuals, online videos, and a live stream for each kit. You’ll be taken through the creative process behind some of noma’s most iconic flavors. The kits will be delivered with your second and third product deliveries. Some basic equipment (not included in the kits) is required, i.e. 1L glass jar, cloth, rubber band and weights.

Yes! Taste Buds members will be able to interact with the team (i.e. the noma test kitchen, noma projects production team and more) through virtual Q&A sessions and cook-alongs. Additionally, you’ll have access to the Taste Buds private Discord channel, where you can ask questions, share recipes, and exchange experiences with both the noma team and fellow members. It’s the perfect space to discuss meetups, fermentation successes, and everything in between.

As a Taste Buds member, you and a guest are welcome to schedule a guided visit to the Noma Projects production facility in Copenhagen. This unique, behind-the-scenes experience lets you explore how our products are made and meet some of the team. Starting in January, we’ll offer specific dates and times each week within our opening hours for you to sign up and reserve your spot. During your visit, you’ll have the opportunity to speak with the production team and gain deeper insights into our processes.

We’ll host an event in August 2027. Members have the chance to choose between August 13th and 14th.

Additional dates in August might be added based on demand for the event. The event will include workshops with the noma team at noma, demonstrations at the Noma Projects HQ, and access to reserve special dining experiences around the city with other Taste Buds.

Besides the Taste Buds Summer Event, members will have early access to all events organized by Noma Projects.

We're finalizing details for the upcoming year, but we’re exploring a mix of tastings, gatherings, and learning experiences in Copenhagen, and potentially other cities where larger groups of Taste Buds are based. Please note that some events may come with additional charges.
